A pouring Memorial Day weekend…

God, I hope not. At least when it comes to the stuff falling from the sky. But a bottle pour is something else entirely (although I most love that nestled next to a beach campfire). Check out my story about touring Washington Columbia River Gorge wineries in today’s Weekend magazine for The Columbian.

Some worth-checking-out highlights:

Wind River Cellars, home to Minnie, the potbellied pig, Domaine Pouillon, a place atop a savannah that’s working to meld the environment with both food and wine and Cascade Cliffs Vineyard and Winery, a place sandwiched between breath-taking buttes and the Columbia River.

Enjoy the weekend, wherever your plans take you.
