Taking it too far?


Maybe it’s a good thing I take a less-traveled path for my regular pug walks (although I often run into regulars). Finding it’s a good time to practice belly dance movements — at least the upper body fare. I must be a sight, practicing undulations, ribcage circles, shoulder rolls, tummy flutters, cobra head and snake arms — oh, lots and lots of snake arms. Hey, three miles of walking, snake arms and undulations equals a whole-body workout. I just hope it helps my dance. And writing. Don’t ask me how the two are related, but I’m hearing from some folks that much comes out in dance, so I’m figuring they complement one another. That’s my at-this-moment proclamation, anyhow.
