Pics from friends in North Dakota hit the in-box this week. And I’m reminded — again — that I can’t deal with feet (mountains!) of snow for months on end. Virginia ’bout did me in when I lived there for several years in the 1990s. (Often had snow’s evil cousin visit there: freezing rain, which had a habit of coating cars, and car key locks, and roads with a thick slab of slippery ice. There were no wool socks thick enough to make sledding more than a passing fancy for me.)

But rain I can handle. Enjoy, even. And here are some pics taken on a recent rainy day. Was going to wait until I made a multimedia project with ambient rain sounds and such. And I still will. But here are the pics first.
