Not to spook anyone…

While the sit-in continues at Republic Windows in Chicago (doors shuttered, employees gypped out of pay, benes, vacation and severance packages, not to mention no doors-closing notice — blame the faceless Bank of America, the employer says), a newspaper that reports on it all grapples with more of its own mounting financial pressues. The Tribune — think Chicago Tribune— has hired bankruptcy advisors in what appears a last-ditch effort to keep the presses churning and you, dear readers, informed.
