‘Eulogy’ & ‘Voices in Wartime’

Poety is to ideas what chutney or sauce is to a meal: Condensed, bursting with flavor and intense. That’s why I was excited to watch “Voices in Wartime” recently. It’s a documentary about poets, invited and then disinvited to read at the White House, who used their craft to explore their feelings about the Iraq War and used their connections with each other to express those feelings.

Since I’ve read, watched and interviewed Brian Turner, it seems fitting to include him reading “Eulogy.” If you’re a poet or poetry fan, check out the documentary: http://www.voicesinwartime.org/Home/film/Movie.aspx
