And in the late afternoon: the shadows of ivy filtered through the shades reflected on the ceiling, walls and floors the golden light one sees only in N CA a half hour before the sunset folks gathered in front of the mission for a full meal and a safe night's rest An elderly couple sitting down for supper in the kitchen..same time, every night , viewed peeping Thomasita through their window as I drive past lights coming on in homes and knowing families are together, home from work and school the setting sun hitting the river, turning it red, pink, and golden birds in flocks flying towards roosts Diehard red 24th generation dragon fly buzzing me in the pool Neat.
